All up in bidness like a Wendy interview

Why did they have to cancel Wendy Williams in the Detroit market? She even did a party at the Charles H. Wright museum? OK, so yeah it's ghetto of me to listen to her, but dayum she entertained me on my ride home from work, you just don't know.

So it was back to work today after a nice long weekend. Ugh, I really wish I were a SAHM, I have a great job and love the people, but I really need to be home. This is the cliff's notes version of our weekend. Friday, home from work a little early to start the weekend, then off to partridge creek to do a little shopping, we had some fun and dinner and then back home. Saturday, the boy had soccer, then off to lunch, Jose and I went to the gym shortly after then home for a quick nap. After waking up Jose takes the boy to the baseball game and Reyna and I head out for a little more shopping. Sunday, to the gym again for us in the morning, then I take the kids to the zoo, home, lunch and nap the afternoon away. Monday I take the kids downtown just to chill, they run around crazy at Campus Martius, then we decide to jump on the people mover. While walking down there, I see Moby, no, seriously I saw Moby and I didn't even have Jose there to joke about it. We joke often about seeing famous people, just the night before coming down the street, I told him I saw Rick Ross sitting outside the bar, to which Jose responds, "Push it to the limit, I push and I push...." But FOR REALS, it was Moby and I thought nothing of it, until we sat down at American Coney for lunch and all the freaks came out, shortly after noon. Duh, it was the Electronic Music Festival this weekend, it WAS Moby, he was performing there!!! So, Reyna couldn't appreciate it, so I was a little dissapointed, so we head to the ice cream shop, that is closed, boo. We get in the car and decide to drive down Mack to see if we can see our favorite crazy lady sitting in an old folding lawn chair with her big stuffed tiger. Yup, there she is, if my batteries hadn't died, I woulda captured a picture. We then head to the village and get some kiddie cones at Sanders and some hamburger patties at Krogers to grill for dinner, then back at home for a nice nap. After dinner, we attempt rollerblading and if you read my previous blog, you can see how that ended up.
Anyway, a fantabulous weekend with the family (and some laundry). I did get a call back from the allergist and she wants to see Reyna tomorrow (or else the next appt in late July) I can't take the time off as I just took yesterday off to take her to another specialist. Yeah, I wish I could stay home even to do that stuff, but she's in good hands with her daddy.
